Google is the diva among podcast directories. Here, everything works a bit differently than with the others. Your podcast can't just be uploaded here, it has to be found by Google. Just like you have to configure your website so that the Google crawler finds it on the web, you also have to make your podcast findable.
But don't worry, we will help you with that. If you use our Julep Hosting Blog, you won't have a problem anyway. Here it is automatically ensured that Google finds your podcast.
If you use your own or an external website instead of the Julep Hosting blog, you have to set an HTML element yourself. This is how it works:
If you use your own website, set a HTML code there in the <head> area. You can find this code in our "Edit Podcast --> Export" section. For example, it looks like this:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="The Test Podcast" href="https://cdn.julephosting.de/staging/61-der-test-podcast/feed.rss"/>.
