We are really happy that you have decided to join Julep Hosting. Of course we will help you to move your existing podcast to us. And we'll do it in a way that you won't lose your listeners!

The move is a collaboration between you and us. We can do a lot for you, but not everything. This is how the move works:

If you have not yet created an account with us, now is the time to do so. So simply register and then click on the button "Transfer existing podcast" on the homepage.

After clicking on "Transfer existing podcast" you will see a page with a form. Fill it out and send it to us by clicking on "Request to move podcast".

Now it's our turn. We will import your podcast and contact you by email when we are done. In our email, we will also explain to you what the next steps are to complete the transfer. The import usually takes 1-2 business days. It is not charged to your encoding minutes.

If you have multiple podcasts that you want to move to us, you can request them in the same way after the first one has been successfully moved.

And back to you: Before you can publish your podcast with us, you have to set up a redirect from your old hoster to us. Only if your feed is redirected, podcast directories (like Apple Podcasts) recognize that the location has changed, but the podcast is the same and redirect automatically to the new URL. This "recognition" takes about 3-4 weeks. So please wait a few weeks before you cancel your old hosting service.

Please also note that we cannot move your statistics/analytics with you. If you still need your historical podcast statistics after canceling your old hosting service, please remember to save them beforehand.

You can find your Julep Hosting feed in your Dashboard under "Edit Podcast" --> "General" --> "Feed link". Copy the URL there (it has the following format: https://cdn.julephosting.de/podcast-name/feed.rss) and enter it as a redirect at your old hosting service. Every hoster does this differently. You can usually find information about the procedure on the help pages of your current hosting service:
